Carrie L. Shaw
Carrie L. Shaw joined the Sheridan office of Throne Law Office, PC in November of 2011. Prior to joining Throne Law Office, PC, Carrie worked for Brown, Drew & Massey, LLP on civil litigation, estate planning, domestic relations and transactional matters. At Throne Law Office, PC, Carrie's emphasis is on representing oil and gas companies in the preparation of title opinions as well as oil and gas transactional matters.
Carrie received her B.A. in Criminal Justice combined with an Honors Degree from the University of Wyoming in 2005. In May 2009 she graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law. While in law school, Carrie served as Vice President and President of the Wyoming Law Students for Equal Justice and was a member of the championship Rothergerber Trial Advocacy Competition team in 2008 and 2009. Carrie also served as the student director for the Domestic Violence Legal Assistance Project (DVLAP) during her 3L year, in which she was able to represent indigent victims of domestic violence throughout the State of Wyoming.
Carrie is active in the Sheridan, Wyoming community where she served as the Sheridan County Bar Association Vice President, has volunteered with Big Brother, Big Sister, Meals on Wheels, UNICEF, and many other organizations. Carrie is a Wyoming native and enjoys spending time in the outdoors, snowboarding and traveling.
